PCKey 1200 problems
« on: July 27, 2013, 03:57:08 PM »
I have a couple of PCKey 1200 adaptors which both exhibit a problem. After I've typed a few words, it keeps repeating a letter and its pretty much impossible to get it to stop. If I keep typing, then the repeated letter may change.

Only way I've found to stop this is to reset the machine.

Any idea for why this happens?

Thanks
steve30 :)

Its a generic 1990s style AT keyboard.

I misplaced my AT to PS/2 adaptor, but when I find it, I'll try some other boards.

I have a bit of a shortage of working keyboard here. I got loads of faulty keyboards and only a few good ones :D.

I found my AT to PS/2 adaptor and connected up my Cherry keyboard via a USB to PS/2 adaptor. I'm pleased to report it worked perfectly. So, it seems like it is definitely a keyboard issue. Strange.
