No more Emulator for me - Want an Amiga

You would have to hack your PS3 to play amiga games on.

This may cause issues as Sony claim to have solved the hacking issue with the last firmware update.

AFAIK nobody has disputed this yet

It's not pointless. The best and easiest way to have an Amiga plugged into your bigscreen-telly is the way I told.

Surely the easiest way would be to get an Amiga and plug it into the TV with a RF/Scart/Composite cable

Amiga emulation for PS3 was posted and accepted and discussed as newsitem awhile back, so apparently it ain't so much of a hot potato for Amiga.org moderators.

I own legal copies of Amiga roms .. it takes a much bigger company than Sony to stop me lying on the sofa drinking beer while watching good old Amigademos

Hacking PS3's is illigal and your telling a fellow forum user to do it

Well I don't have a law degree but I do know if your caught hacking sony will ban your console from the PSN and take you to court and get injunctions slapped on you that prevent you hacking any sony product

Listen,noone here posted links to cfw or something,sony hunts users for doing cfw(and sony is not a good company btw for doing this)

,but since noone here offered tools or stuff to hack a console i dont see what is your problem.

If i drop my ps3 from ten floors down the floor will sony come and arrest me,for doing harm to something i bought???

What right do they have to stop people from doing cfw ?I see you are ready to post "piracy",but here NOONE did piracy,all they did was to post an emulator for a machine capable of running homebrew.

I am very carefully following the rules of the amiga.org i didnt post links to cfw publicly but I WAS the one who posted on the news the links for the uae emulator for cfw 3.55.

Unless you are a Sony boss or something i dont see any reason for you to have any problem with a user wanting to go to CFW.

If someone is going to suggest using a hacked ps3 then they should point out the downsides.

If you think it's not illegal to hack a ps3 because geohot did not get arrested then go ask him to hack any sony product and see what he says .
