There're a number of modern PC monitors that can handle 15Khz signals, although the specifications state that they only can sync down to 31Khz. For example the BenQ BL702A 17" LCD monitor can handle all Amiga screen resolutions. PAL Hires (640x256) gives a rock solid picture without any distortion! Just look at this thread:
