Asking for pictures can mean the difference between a good or a bad deal.
If there's no battery damage, chances are good that there is no hardware failure. I always ask for pictures before buying and look very good if there are no damaged traces around the battery area. No problems in that case.
It's better to ask for pictures then blindly buy an Amiga
without even knowing what's inside.
