iWin you Lose

hmmn, first post in quite a while, anyways.......

Anyone here remember the whole iWin episode with the 68K and PPC machines that were supposedly developed by some previously un-heard of company that vanished just a quick.

It was quite an elaborate scheme, and even got coverage in Amiga Format (that's where the subject line was taken from).  Did anyone ever find out what this was all about? Who was behind it? etc.

The difference here is that Merlancia is pretty well documented, and very well known.  This on the other hand is a bit of a unsolved mystery as far as I know, and has largely been forgotten.

I can't believe none of the UK people didn't know who it was - Spaced is one of the greatest sitcoms of our time!!
