Right then Aussies who has and who will have a Sam?
« on: December 30, 2008, 05:41:30 AM »
I,m just wondering how much interest the Sam and Os 4.1 has generated in Australia. How many Aussies out there have purchased a Sam mobo and how many are likely too?
I,ll kick off by saying I,ve got one and am very happy with it. I reckon there would be less than 25 in the whole of OZ Lets see! :-D

All very interesting guys. To the guys who were not impressed by the demo you have to remember that the software is still in Beta. Speaking for myself everything I thrown at it (figuratively speaking) works and works well
Yeh I would agree at the moment it is a tad expensive owing to our poor performing dollar which is slowly on the rise but owing to this and the low volumes in production I can't see it getting any cheaper. As for my wild guess at less than 25 in the whole of OZ well I hope I,m wrong on that one. If I may finish with this remember when the Amiga one came out? It came into the world running Linux if I remember rightly, and the first couple of releases of OS4 had a few probs as well which were eventually fixed so dont be too disheartened Go for it and enjoy.
Seeya :-D
