On 1200, yes.

500/600 needs scandoubler. I'm running my 500 on a trusty old 1084 (without the S :-( ), and the Access is currently being used for Super Frog on an industrial 30 inch video monitor at the office *humming softly*

You can use the A1200 on a VGA monitor once you've set it up for it. But only the OS runs like that. Games and demos run in PAL or NTSC so need a scandoubler. Get an external one and use it on all models :-)
