PCMCIA C/F card 'not working' with Skick

Hi Chris, i can confirm that using a 128mb compact flash pcmcia card and booting into wb3.0 using skick with 8mb activated worked fine for me. The pcmcia would not work in kickstart 3.1 unless i jumper down the ram to 4mb. We are talking about the same accelerator you bought from me.

You could install a switch to the jumper which is what i was gonna do until i found out about skick. Good luck. Its true the mtec is not so pcmcia friendly but its a great card. Enjoy

@Dougal.....I thought it was you! I shall keep my eye out for 128mb cards, or more than likely I will 'jump' down to 4MB on the card and carry on using WB3.1.

I don't intend on doing much memory intensive stuff on my little monster and if I do need the full 8MB, well, it's not exactly a huge job to do.
