Assembling D-Box - confused about PSU
« on: October 19, 2005, 06:29:25 PM »
I'm assembling a D-Box with an A1200 and Mediator. The instructions say that if I'm using a Mediator I have to use the ATX-AT converter. I haven't got one of these, but the PSU has both ATX and AT power connectors. The Mediator also has ATX and AT connections. So which do I use?!

Thanks
Mark

Thanks guys. I've got it all rigged up using the ATX connector and it's working great. Did anyone else have problems with the floppy faceplate? My drive seems to low down and I can't get disks in. When I can force them in the disk won't eject. It's the stock drive from the A1200. Any thoughts?

Thanks Ian, I'll think about the replacement drive. You could use a 3.5"->5.25" adapter kit to put your Zip drive in a CD-ROM bay. They come with a faceplate and runners which attach to the front and sites of the 3.5" drive, and it slides perfectly in to a CD-ROM bay.
