I'm not really into footbal in a big way (any of its codes), but I did enjoy watching the end of a game last night.  Got out of bed for a drink, and watched the last 8 minutes of the Australia-Japan game go from 0-1 to 3-1.  Well, that was fun.

I do get extremely tired of all the jingoism though (not just in sport, either).  At least the football broadcaster here is the station with a lot of international employees: they're a lot lighter with the xenophobia.

31-0???  I don't think you could lose that badly if you didn't play.
