Hi bigdan,
are you sure that kind of equipment is necessary? Can one not just hack a pcmcia connector, attaching the socket to a front bay pannel, and a cable to the computer's PCB?

I recall this idea was discussed a while back here. One member (can't remember who) had towerised a 1200, and connected the PCMCIA ethernet card by bending the connectors, as he didn't have a right angle bracket. Couldn't find the thread: maybe too long ago.

Hi,
This page
also has a PCMCIA extension cable (bottom of page). No price listed, and it doesn't appear to be made for panel mounting. Not sure if it's the right sdtandard for the old PCMCIA either.
You can also buy components to make a decent extension cable for yourself through good electronics suppliers.
