Exit Stage Left
« on: August 29, 2014, 10:11:54 PM »
Wow, I never thought that I would be thinking this, but it's time to remove anything connected to C= Commodore from my life. This is happening to other areas that I used to have an interest in too. I'm at a point in my life where I've got to chuck a lot of material things that I don't use any more and just clutter up my room, to be boxed up and dragged around when I move, which is quite often. The sad part, is to see the old A3000 where I set it up under the table, where I never felt the need to connect it up and turn it on.

To you, this means that you're going to have the chance soon to buy a rather nice A3000D, a 1084s and some accesories.

Once I've dealt with my bad situation, I'll have to set it up and turn it on so as to get pictures, delete/remove all my personal files, box it up, and then auction it.

Thanks everyone. If there was the means of securely storing my Amiga, then by all means I would do so. However, the situation is almost nomadic in a way and having a minimal amount of personal stuff is the way I'm going.

For a time, I also had a collection of Amiga Forever, ImageFX, and AOS 3.9 together in a CD case that was my essential virtual Amiga and when it went missing, my interest in the platform kind of went with it.

In the future, when I catch the Amiga bug again, which I am certain to "get" :) and have the funds, then virtual Amigas will be the way to go.
