Any better ways to convert animations
« on: January 11, 2011, 02:06:24 AM »
So far, for the few DPaint animations that I've put up on Youtube, I've used the program Anim2Mpeg. However the output when its converted is rather fuzzy and usually takes all night to work (if there's not an error making you start all over AGGGHHHH!), along with the time it takes to then transfer it to my PC via Amiga Explorer.

So, with my stock A3000D, whats a better way to convert them?

My original idea was to get a genlock (hopefully with SVideo output) so that I can play it directly into my PC video capture program and just record it at full size, saving me a huge amount of time. SACC-guy is offering a nice one, but is somewhat unsure if all this will work.

On the PC side, I use Pinnacle Studio 12 to digitize with.

Well, I've never tried using the capture feature of WinUAE, time to read up.
