What's a Base 1? If its a stock 2000, not much $50-$100.
All you need to run 3.5/3.9 is enough ram, and a CDrom drive. That's the minimum. A RTG video card is recomended with 3.9.
I think you might be confused. OS 3.5 and 3.9
is the software and they both come on CDs. To run them, you need the 3.1 ROM chips.
