C= 3640 vs. warp engine 040?
« on: September 17, 2006, 09:18:39 PM »
Software Hut has both the C= 3640 and the Warp Engine 040 accelerators available in the refurbished area.

The Warp Engine is a few $ more than the 3640, so I was wondering if anyone has any recomendation of which is better for my A3000D. I just sent my check in for the 3640, but i'm thinking of cancelling it to get the Warp Engine, after I looked on the Ami Hardware site and saw the two slots for SIMM memory, which would be very good. I've got a few laying around my desk not being used.

Thanks LoadWB.

Hi Jeff. Last one, huh? Drat. :oops:  I'll email them just to be sure.

If I get the 3640, I'll probably need help setting up a fan or two.

Thanks for all the responses everyone.

Well, Jeff was right. Software Hut says they are clean out of Warp Engines.

Darn. Now I'll never get to Alpha Centauri in time for the concert. ;-)
