Nope. That Fast slot is for that 68060 accelerator you're planning to get in the future.  :-D

It's not booting for another reason. What are your symptoms?

Make sure that all socketed chips are seated firmly.

Give the floppy drive a good alcohol cleaning. That got my internal A3000 FD to read disks properly.

Boot from the Install disk, and run HDToolBox and check to see if the HD is ok. That's a good start.

Well, on another post, a malfunctioning floppy drive on a 2000 was due to a bad CIA chip, so perhaps thats the problem.
