Nice, something I wanted to do if I ever had found a fitting donor case
The A600 can't be pulling much more then 25w (I should measure this some day) + peripherals so with today's batteries you should be able to get a respectable run time on a portable A600 + a decent LCD panel.
Do not forget to build a correct charging circuit depending on battery choice. Will look forward to seeing more pictures on this.
