I got one on my A1200 and I can say a few things.
First there are pros and cons using VGA over DVI, using VGA gave me horizontal lines that annoyed me a lot due to pixel clock etc, got that on all monitors I tried when using VGA and I had no way to remove it before the config tool is released.

The pros of VGA is that you can adjust the picture size on the monitor to remove a lot of the black borders in some screen modes witch is great and the auto adjust on decent monitors seem to do it good enough.

I switched to DVI just because of the horizontal lines, when using DVI I got perfect crystal clear picture but I can not adjust the image to remove black borders in lower resolutions due to DVI is digital pixel by pixel match.

But I preferred some black borders over horizontal lines so I am sticking with DVI until the config tool comes, if you wan't to see what I mean with horizontal lines etc I can post a few pictures.

Edit: I am using Superplus @ 800x600 as screen mode on a 4:3 EIZO FlexScan 1901 monitor and then I get no black borders in WB only in games.
