I've burned a lot of CDs over  the last few years. Because my pc isn't anywhere near state of the art, I've always 'premastered' my CD burns to a disk file first. Then burn 3 copies to be safe. :-)
I've been worried about this recent concern over the long-term stability of the CDR media.  Especially with all my Amiga magazines now burned to CD & the paper versions recycled....  I've been considering one of those cheap 120gig HD's as backup for my CDs. :-)
