I've looked at the hack on Aminet to convert the old 72pin SIMMS to GVP. Seemed like far too much fine soldering to me... But with pcb design software free on the pc, and board fab shops offering fairly cheap services, it might make sense to design some boards where the old chips from a 72pin simm could be moved over.
I wonder though about the newer pc100 SIMMS... are those 3.3V? They are larger capacity too, the biggest GVP made were 16MB. Could the GVP board even do the refresh needed on larger chips?

Speaking of GVP, does anyone have the pinout of the expansion bus on those combo cards?
