While I can browse AmigaWorld.net when I'm not logged in, once logged the only thing I see is a grey page. On Ipad, Iphone, IE or Firefox.

Can both you and CritAnime try clearing your caches and trying again. We have changed the log in security and password database encryption methods. This in itself shouldn't have caused any issues, but some users have reported similar problems to yourself following these amendments after the server outage, and in those cases a hard cache clearout solved the login issues.
Currently it has been tested by staff with FF2 - 9.0.1, Chrome, IE8 and 9.
