I'm thinking of releasing a slightly cut-down version of the Mr Beanbag game engine as a "platform game construction kit" after its release.  Mr Beanbag II (aka "Beanbag and Son") has a more advanced engine planned, look forward to the obligatory simultaneous two-player upgrade.  You heard it here first.  Hopefully it won't take us another ten years...

Could you tell us a bit more about the game construction kit based on Mr Beanbag engine ?
Will it possible to create some platform games such as Alex Kidd/Mario Bros with it ?
Which mode will it use, ECS/AGA...
I'm looking for a game construction kit because I want to create some games, but unfortunatelly I have no skills for coding. I was interested by Backbone, but it seems to be slow (at least when using more than 32 colors) according what I could read here and there .   :-(
