If you checked EAB you should have seen Jen's last thread then:

...or if you're bored enough to click the link...

There is no release date yet. Please monitor the news, and please don't  ask me (or the resellers) for a release date, as it's just taking up  valuable time.

Where is the sad part?
If you mean about the delay... welcome to the Amiga world :D
Jens will release the board for sure. Till then... either try and find an Indivision 1200 (eBay/Amibay or by asking in general) or just use you old trustful RGB --> SCART, Amigamaniac's RGB --> S-VHS etc...

I dont' think that AmigaKit has any reason to lie about a stock they had or not.
The options you have are pretty straightforward though...

When you see stock and you actually care for the item:
- if you have money available --> get it and be done with.
- if you don't have money available --> sell other stuff, wait for funds to appear and get it

If in the meantime of you trying to find the funds... AmigaKit got out of stock, have you raised a ticket asking if they're getting a stock back?
- Yeah they replied they are getting more stock = Hurray!
- Yea, they replied that they aren't getting more stock = Bummer!

If bummer then you could check Vesalia, ABS, Alinea, Software Hut, in case they have remaining stock left (wtf? are they sold out all at the same time?)

If you are so unlucky mate then eBay/Amibay and Forum asking is your friend. Yep you will find most of times the prices a lot more than what they were sold some time ago but hey... you can't have everything in life.
Even so... Now Jens releasing a new version gives you the opportunity once more to get what you wanted and you haven't managed to get. No reason to whine but wait and be grateful :)
