Anyone releasing modified kickstart roms has to be aware of the risks. While Amiga might not have the money for lawyers anymore, there are other interested parties that do.

Since I'm making lotsa custom kickstarts for my own fun (owning the rights to many original 3.1 chips as long as original 3.9 CD) and not selling for profit... I don't care at all.
After all many of us can do our own mods on our Amigas and burn our own kickstarts for the fun of it.
ACATune's MapROM feature is really awesome since you don't have to burn tested ROMS everytime you wanna update or change a module.

Cosmos ftw

Any way to erase "Amiga inc." from the purple boot-screen? :flak:

Amiga Inc plus other copyright stuff reside in Exec.library which loads first.
If you manage to change that there then you're good to go :)
