Would be better to hear that the companies that produce the cards were actually interested in developing drivers for their hardware for Amiga. Won't happen as most of them don't even develop for Linux, but it would still be nice to see a company put real faith into the Amiga.
As long are they're prepared to provide the all the info needed for
somebody to write a driver, it's a step in the right direction. :-)
