In the PDF they released a few weeks back they say there are some advantages to using the PPC (context switching speed?) that aren't there on the x86.
My guess that would be something to do with 68k and X86 interactions (refer to AROS vs Amithlon issues).
“Context switching speed” shouldn't be a big issue when applying brute force solutions. Do you know the link for the said PDF file?
