@Fedorenko

The battle between the said participants is similar to the good old IBM OS/2 Warp VS MS Windows wars i.e. who has the right to accession to old X86 16bit OS empire.

- Path A; Existing (16bit) ecosystem to IBM's 32bit  ecosystem.
- Path B; Existing (16bit) ecosystem  to MS's 32bit ecosystem.

In Amiga’s case;
- Path A; Existing (68K) ecosystem to MorphOS's ecosystem.
- Path B; Existing (68K) ecosystem to AmigaOS 4.0's ecosystem.

The ideal situation is to archive similar understanding (or agreements) like MS and DEC agreements (i.e. equal cross-licensing) in regards to VMS based designs (Windows NT has some code/concepts from both OS/2 and VMS). A potential war was avoided between MS and DEC due to cosy deals they signed together…

Well...  There is talk of compatibility with the Commodore AXXXX line of computers.  They are most likely trying to avoid problems relating to trademark.... ;)

Note that, the Commodore name is owned by Tulips(recalling)…
