Hi.

I was wondering if a flashrom equiped board like the Deneb could be setup to make a non autoboot ide controller (like for instance the catweasel/buddha z2 controller)  to autoboot.

Is there a way to load the device from there and see the disk boot straight to the wb?

Thanks for your advice.

im not sure, it might be neccessary to put the *.device in question into a rom image assembled with remus and place this image in deneb's flash to be loaded with algorkick. you could leave out some other not necessary modules like scsi.device in order to make place for it. otherwise you can make deneb itself bootable from usb drives if you place all the stuff along with the masstorage.class and psdstackloader in the flash. i dont know what kind of non-autoboot controller could compete with denebs 6mbs dma.

I'm going to give a try to Remus then.
I have not been able so far to boot from an usb key with my Deneb despite having every class and psdstackloader loaded with Luciferin (Z2 mode here because A2000), and sometimes it seems the computer boots without loading the flashrom at all (i can see that because it is supposed to load "anticlick" and nonetheless the drives do click).
