« on: August 10, 2005, 02:17:12 PM »
Hi everybody.
I need some help with my OS 3.9 on WinUAE 0.8.27.
A little screen to visualize my problem :-)
http://img35.imageshack.us/my.php?image=amigahelp8av.jpg

So 1)
What should I do to patch the RAM icon permanently. Because after every restart I see the default one.
I found a tut how to change it with makefile and linkimage or something but it doesn't work :-(

2)
What should I use to patch the window look. The bar scrollers etc.

3)
I have problems with CD-ROM. I tried to change the CDROM unit number in DEVS but it doesn't work. What should I d to use CDROM under WinUAE

4)
I'm trying to hear some MP3 on AMPlifier but I always have error - no AHI device v4 or something. I have AHI. I've installed it and it doesn't work :-( Help ?

and last but not least
4)
Internet in WinUAE. I don't know what I need to have Internet on WinUAE.

It's been over 10 years since I was playing my real A1200 for the last time. I forgot almost everything :-( But now it's time to get back to this OS :-D

1) I did this.
Make new drawer called ramdisk in S and change icon to the PowerIcon png, then add the above line to user startup.
Result - File couldn't be load.
I change name of the png icon to ramdisk.info result as above.
I change the png icon name to ramdisk.icon modified the startup and file couldn't be load.
I did sth wrong but I don't know what.
Can someone with PowerIcons tell me step by step what to do to change this damn icon...
2) I still have problem to get GUI in VisualPrefs. It looks like it is opening but no GUI. I'm opening the VisualPrefs from the Hd catalog.
3) Not yet checked :-D
4) I changed this prefs to Paula but I still get the Info - Couldn't open AHI device V4!
5) Working. Browsing in Amiga right now :-D
Btw how to change font size in IBrowse? Cause it is so tiny...

OK I found GUI lol. Ehh too many years on PC...
Anyway I changed the look to Virgola one but still have problems loading the birdie image to the window.

As You can see there is only image under the letters...
Here is what I've got in the startup

C:AddDataTypes REFRESH QUIET
Run > NIL: "Hd:VisualPrefs"
C:IPrefs
Run >NIL: C:Birdie C:window_enabled C:window_disabled activepattern nobitmaps PUBSCREENS
C:ConClip

I checked 10 times if the window_enabled & window_disabled are in the C folder...

Any ideas ?
