power a 3,5" HD in a plain A1200
« on: January 08, 2008, 07:46:57 PM »
hi,

There are many cheap 2,5"->3,5" HD adapters. I have some.
They are working fine (I use one in my A1200T).

When I want to use a 3,5" HD in a plain A1200, I can't feed the HD directly from the PSU.
Is there a way to power a 3,5" HD inside a plain A1200?

so I have to solder a cable between the floppy connector and the harddisk.

I see +12V  gr gr +5V near the connector of my harddisc.
Is there anyone who knows the voltages of the four pins of my floppy connector (A1200) ?
