I used to boot from my IDE HDD (SCSI.device).
This spring I bought a Yamaha SCSI-IDE bridge and I connected a second IDE-HDD to my 1230SCSI-controller.
The bridge works OK..., HDtoolbox could find the HDD, I could format it and I gave that partition the highest bootpriority so my Amiga started from that new HDD.

but..
Yesterday I disconnected the old HDD which was connected to the SCSI.device. But now, my Amiga didn't boot anymore from the HDD at the 1230SCSI.device (black screen).
When I re-conntect the old HDD to SCSI.device, my amiga boots again from the new HDD at 1230SCSI.device.

Can anyone help me?
Is it about jumpering the 1230SCSI.device??

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestions!

I think the trick with Blizkick only works for the 2nd reboot?

The trick with the IDE-killer...mmm :)

Q: when I buy a IDE->CF converter and connect it to a CF card.... Is my amiga booting directly from my 1230SCSI??
