You're not using a scan doubler or anything like that, correct?

I have found that you cannot use scan doublers on A2000s and use the "Tick from Video" setting.

I would imagine that you probably cannot use the sync doubler in the A3000 as well.

Maybe you will need to build the hardware Tick generator?

To clarrify,

I cannot use my A2000 (with an AT power supply) with anything other than my 1084s directly connected with an Amiga 23 pin video cable.  It will not even work with my Nec Multisync 3DS and the 23 to 15 pin Commodore adapter.
