I recently started playing the Mercenary trilogy (Danmocles...). I thought the old vector textureless 3D will be ugly, but it actually looks quite good and it's incredible how realistic looking worlds were they able to create with just vectors (and with a bit of imagination on your side 
). Haven't played it much yet, but it really has some charm. It's quite different than the usual Amiga 2D affairs plus it's fast unlike most old 3D games.
I have to agree, the 3d vector world, with the speed of it's vector graphics, (as in tankzone the arcade version - off the the thread) was and is one of the best vector 3d games i've played on an Amiga. Not only that, but the plot in Damocles is quite gripping, and sucked me right into this world(s)... it's just a shame that i've not seen this game revised for today's hardware - although it has been ported. It has to be one of my faves.
