Before bidding you should get the seller to check the floppy drive. He says he has no reason to believe it shouldn't work but, frankly, with old Amiga drives I have no reason to believe it does work until I've seen it.
If it doesn't work, it is an absolute PAIN!!!! I made that mistake with an A1000 I bid on... will get it fixed one day :pissed:
