ah, the big date changeover.

Nothing happened , except some of my 1985 programs (banking) never assumed I would still be using them by 2000.
Took me days to figure out why my info was no longer logged in.   but hey, living in 1905 isn't so bad, lol.

Someone was asking about cost of the 2000 change.  I know it cost my previous company lots of money as they payed us all overtime as we sat by our computers if they crashed.  I made $26 dollars an hour for 8 hours.  Multiply that times half the work force and it cost plenty.  Nothing happened.   We had a great time though.  

Many of my Amiga programs failed to adjust to the new time, so I have to reset my clock on the amiga to use them.  Alas, someone knew the Amiga was not going to exist after 2000.  Enjoy the Christmas season.
