Dear all,

One of my A600 stopped working.
It does not boot anymore and only the caps led remains green.

I decided, first to check the PSU voltages.
Here are the figures :
-10,2v instead of -12v
5,1v instead of 5v
11,3v instead of 12v

Do you think the PSU could be faulty or the figures above are within the normal variation ?
When switching off, the PSU does a little air sound : "pfffffiiiiit".

Now about the A600. I think about a recap. Do you think, according the caps led, capacitors could be the faulty items ?
Can't do the recap myself since I do not have enough experience with soldering tiny components on pcb, I'll have to find an Amiga repairman : someone to recommend ?

Many thanks for your advices.

Giana

Three goes the charm !!  Each morning.. switch on A600 and nothing. So I do the old Ctrl-Left Amiga-Right Amiga and ... nothing... Third time is the charm and always works so a  Ctrl-Left Amiga and Right Amiga and like magic she always works. Or you could try talking to her nicely. That has worked also for me.

I have like 100 Amigas and not one is capped. They just work.

Like this one today.....
