I have never used a ssd card and certainly never run a hard drive with an Amiga 1000. However the ROM works slightly different on the Amiga 1000 and is on a floppy to give the machine functionality. I am sure you probably know all this and you have all that in place, but I thought it might be worth mentioning. In truth I have no idea what is the problem, wouldn't have the first clue as to how to solve it.

Also some information on the drive and where it is located in the computer. Any other details about the machine would be very useful and the processes involved when you fire the machine up and what exactly do you see on the screen. Where are you reading the information you list. Quite fascinating given the age of the computer. Also was the computer working before you replaced the card. Just interested.
