Its really is not the computers fault if the user is an idiot that just expects the machine to run without fault having downloaded endless nonsense from the internet and clicked every last link possible. I have a Windows 7 64bit OS and it runs like a dream. But then after all these years I have learned how to keep a computer clean. My Windows95 machine still runs perfectly, as does my Windows98 and my XP machine and Laptop with XP on it. All my Amigas function without fault also..
PS that article was not really about computing. I don't actually think the tech world today even undertstands the concept. Most folk these days think computing is about buying stuff online and posting on chat sites..... I guess that's what computing has become. It is possible to survive without the internet. Most kids these days would have a brain hemorrhage if their internet or telephone stopped working. Ar hum. Such is life.
