I replaced the battery on my A3000's motherboard as there was some acid leaking. All seemed to be well at first. The clock was running fine. Switching on and off: the time stayed OK. So I left it on for a day to charge the battery. Then I switched it off and left it for a few days.
Now I switched the computer on to discover that the clock is slow. The time is about 17 hours retarded (or delayed or what is the English word for that). Any ideas what could be wrong?
