HDToolbox
« on: July 31, 2006, 11:20:11 PM »
HDToolbox is upset again.
I want to change the boot priority of my hd to 1. It's 0 now and the system tries to boot from the RAD. Upon opening HDToolbox lists the gvpscsi.device. Clicking it reveals my Seagate hd and cd-rom. When I click the hd, I get a requester telling me the disk should be updated because drives have been removed or added. Clicking Update results in HDToolbox error 224, Cannot read disk.
A2000, GVP030/SCSI, KS3.1, OS3.9, BB1 and BB2, Bridgeboard, Picasso II. System is running fine.

Unfortunately, skipping the Update or ignoring the error and clicking the Partition Disk button crashes the computer.

Thanks Thomas, that little proggy changes it all right. I'm a bit worried about the HDToolbox though. Version 3.1 doesn't show any drives.

I think in the 3.1 HDToolbox, you would have to change one of the icon tooltypes from "scsi.device" to "gvpscsi.device".

This worked. I now could save changes to disk. I can now also use the OS3.9 HDToolbox without trouble.
Thanks a lot everyone!
