wrp mfm on the Amiga
« on: February 26, 2008, 09:35:14 PM »
Hello, all,

I received an interesting message below.  It seems that software was archived in the Amiga format, "wrp mfm".  I've never heard of that format.  How does a person go about in accessing that?

Message follows,

Subject: Need help with some salvaged files...

I have a project that might be of special interest to you.  I've got my hands on a bunch of my old commodore files, which I transferred from 1581 disks.   Here's the catch.  They're in an AMIGA format called "wrp mfm".  At the time when I saved them, there was no utilities to transfer 1581 disks to PC, and I didn't want to lose the files that I had.  One particular treasure is Maverick 1581.  If you know anyone who has an Amiga, we could potentially get these files into a usable format!

And so, with the MFMWarp.lha package, I will be able to dearchive the disks.  Is that correct?
