Yes, the C64 needs 5 volts DC and 9 volts AC at far higher
amperage. What you have is a replacement power supply for
the 1541-II 5 1/4" disk drive or for the 1581 3 1/2" double-
density disk drive (I have the same power supply you've
mentioned).
