are the hex files available somewhere to burn them?  Or is it "find someone and borrow theirs" to do it?  I'm in the same position here..  Could get access to a prom burner if I pull some strings.. Also are those ROM's IR erasable or would I still have to find blank ROM's?

Hey..  I ripped this from a different (but similar) post (different hardware piece)

"Re: DKB: 1240

You can upgrade the firmware yourself that would make the card work with KS3.1 if any ram is installed on the card.

You can flash it just like you can flash any Phase 5 accelerator card. There is an on-board flashrom on DKB Cobra and DKB 1240 accelerators.

The DKP Ferret SCSI utility disk has got the flash file on it. Simply UnDMS this image onto a floppy and it will become a bootable disk. Boot your A1200 with it and make sure your DKB1240 or Cobra has got no ram installed on it if you have 3.1 roms installed. If you still have 3.0 roms, it doesn't matter if there is ram on the accelerator or not. Follow the instructions and viola! Your DKB accelerator is 3.1 compatible."

Any chance that applies to the A2620 as well?  Is there a flash utility or do I have to rip the ROM's out, and do the programmer/reflash (assuming they can be rewritten, and not have to find new unburnt roms) thing?
