The problem is that this has been repeated so many time it is meaningless without some sort of timescale.
Eyetech offered AmigaOnes in 2002 with the statement "Our best estimate is that OS4 will be available in Jan 2003". What could this estimate possibly have been based upon?
When somebody said it won't be ready by Easter 2003 they were shouted down with "Shut up - you know nothing - it is progressing"

OS4 modules running on PPC accelerators is very different from a full release of OS4 for AmigaOne machines. OS4 forAmigaOne is not Hyperion's priority. I have seen a post from Hyperion which said they hoped or believed they could have it ready before the end of the year. Why not just announce that as a target date. We can then settle down with AmigaOnes and Linux without fretting about AOS4 for another six months.
