I use pfs3 that is much faster than ffs if you can still buy it. :-)
I once had an amigaone xe but sold it .

It is very reliable you can switch the computer off while it is downloading and it will not invalidate your harddrive.There are tools on aminet for disk recovery and defragmenting .i have found it listed for sale here  http://www.softhut.com/pfs3.html :-)
