The Amiga 1200 is a low quality, poorly made Amiga. So I can see why you want to dump it on someone else (I dumped mine a long time ago). If you had an Amiga 2000
same old doomaster the a1200 is worth more than a 2000 .
your best bet is to try selling it on amibench .
I sold an 8200 + monitor on ebay for £3 the other week. If I'd known I would have swapped it, hell I would probably have given it to you. Mostlikely a much better cause than the ponce in the white pim ass bmw that came to collect it and spent more time on his mobile phone than talking to me, didn't thank me and didn't leave me any feedback...
