I thought that the A1 allready shipped in quantaty?

 
Yes, it is (the -XE that is, the -SE has been out for quite
some time). But the batches come in "waves" depending on
throughflow from Taiwan and the processing at Eyetech.
Plus not every board of each batch is handed out to dealers
(see an earlier post in another thread about the picking
order). What Helgis means is that the next "wave" to
dealers will apparently be coming around May 20.

Not to  worry,  if you interpolate the rule I added
above, you will realistically spend most of your time in a
