dead bridgeboard?
« on: October 03, 2005, 05:15:34 AM »
I got a A2286. I stuck it in my A2000, changed jumpers on a ZII card so it would have 6MB of fast RAM (leaving address space for the bridgeboard), and installed the Janus stuff that I downloaded from the BBoAH. The floppy drive (attached to the bridgeboard) light doesn't come on, nothing displays on a monitor connected to an ISA VGA card, and the PC-prefs always says it can't load janus.library.

The library is installed where it belongs, and I tried turning off the 68030 data cache as well as booting in 68000 mode. Also, I don't know what the jumpers are for on the A2286 but they are set the same as the ones pictured at Amiga Hardware Database.
