Huh, used to? My A1000 box says "Personal Computer", so it's a PC, as is my Macintosh. I refer to Dell, etc, machines as IBM clones, which is the proper term.
I'm afriad that no one calls x86 PC's "IBM Clones" anymore.
Thats a term from the 80's when IBM built alot of the x86 hardware.
Everyone just calls them PC's these days. I think the funny part is that most unsavvy computer people call the main box that houses their computer the "CPU"
Thats what everyone calls them where I do IT work. They always say "Do you want me to bring in my CPU so you can take a look at it. :lol:
