A couple of years ago I decided to get an Amiga 2000 that had been sitting around doing nothing up and running. Because I could not aford to purchase an Amiga 4000(Wish I had not sold my A40000 in 1999).
Any way I got the machine up and running with a keyboard I then purchased a Geforce 040 from the USA off ebay.I wanted to get the machine to run one of the newer version's of amiga OS so I purchased Amiga OS 3.5 and also a set of 3.1 Roms for the Amiga 2000 and after doing all this my Fusion forty could not be reconized by the new Kickstart Roms. So I found another Amiga user who blow me som new roms for the Fusion forty so it would work with kick start 3.1.
But I could not get the machine to install OS 3.5 and eventually gave up and the machine has been sitting doing nothing for 2-3 years. Could anyone on here spend some time to help me get OS 3.5 installed.
I have manged to get the machine working with a fuged version of 3.1 and I can Read CD's with it but when I try to install 3.5 it fails.I suspect it may be the ICD is not compatable.
Any pointers or advice would be grateful received. Or if someone has a working startup-sequence on there machine that has the same hardware as me maybe they could post it on here so I can use it.
